      Pcc is the combination of cement, sand, coarse aggregates and water

      And rcc is the combination of cement, sand, coarse aggregates, water and steel

      And pcc is use ful for low bearing capacity areas and rcc is useful at heavy structures

      • PCC : Plain cement concrete is the mixture ofย  cement, fine aggregates, coarse aggregates, water in a proportional amount.
      • Plain cement concrete is good in compression but weak in tension.
      • It is mainly used as a damp proof course material at the plinth level of a building

       

      • RCC : Reinforced cement concrete is the mixture of cement, fine aggregates, coarse aggregates, water and steel in a proportional amount.
      • Reinforced cement concrete is good in compression and tension
      • It is mainly used in loadbearing structures such as slab, columns, beams etc.,
